Craft
Aangan works with India’s most ancient textile traditions — the ones that still live in courtyards, verandahs, and small family ateliers where time slows down. Every piece is woven in limited batches, finished by hand, and chosen slowly for its fall, its softness, and quiet grace.
The Pure Silk Collection
Our silks are woven in Bhagalpur— India’s historic Silk City, where weaving families have worked looms for generations. Aangan celebrates the raw, honest beauty of Tussar and Ghicha silk — their natural sheen, their gentle slubs, their earth-born textures. Some of our most precious pieces carry the heritage of Assam’s Muga — the gossamer like golden silk once reserved for Assamese royalty, prized for its glow and longevity. Every piece is woven in limited batches and finished slowly — the way craft is meant to be honoured.
These textiles form the foundation of our palette: Ivory, Muted Grey, Sandstone Tussar, and Soft Beige — colours that drape with quiet, understated elegance.
The Silk Holiday Gift Edit
The festive season is almost here, and so Aangan introduces its Silk Holiday Gift Edit — a curated set of colours woven in small batches for winter gatherings and gifting.
Alongside our soft neutrals, the edit brings a subtle flamboyance in Festive Red, Royal Blue and Wild Rose Pink — seasonal notes that add light and warmth without overwhelming the calmness of the palette.
Each piece is made slowly, thoughtfully, and in limited numbers — created to be worn, gifted, and treasured for years.
The Cashmere Winter Edit launches soon.
